Alleyne Dance presents Far From Home, a narrative dance production about immigration, and about what the search for a better life costs the people forced to make it.
Six dance artists bring Alleyne Dance’s dynamic, powerhouse style to the stage. The ensemble draws out the emotional and mental strain on migrant families, and the effect on the communities where they settle, unpicking what tolerance means and what integration asks of everyone involved.
Multi-award-winning Alleyne Dance is a singular and powerful company, blending Caribbean dance, hip hop and kathak within a contemporary dance context. In 2025 Sadler’s Wells appointed its founding sisters, Kristina and Sadé Alleyne, as Associate Artists.
